NDF, as an organization, encourages and helps democracy spread its roots by becoming more effective. We do this by sharing best practices and suggesting reforms that mirror those countries where democracy is flourishing. We work to promote openness and accountability in government by building political and civic organizations, safeguarding elections, and promoting citizen participation. The foundation brings together individuals and groups to share ideas, knowledge, experiences and expertise that can be adapted to the needs of a democratic government.
